The VIP Event Calendar 2027

8 October 2026

The VIP event calendar for 2027 is shaped by a crowded June: the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix runs from 4 to 6 June 2027, Art Basel from 17 to 20 June and Wimbledon from 28 June to 11 July, while Royal Ascot and the Henley Royal Regatta fall in the same weeks. The year opens with the Snow Polo World Cup in St. Moritz in January, brings the 80th Cannes Film Festival in May and closes with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December. Every date in the calendar comes from the event's official website, and where only the 2026 dates are known so far, the table says so.

When are the major events of 2027?

The table lists the luxury and sporting events of 2027 in date order: art fairs, motorsport, tennis, horse racing, film, music, yachting, watches and design. Most take place in Europe; the others are in Hong Kong, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the United States. Each event links to the official page on which its date is published, read on 7 and 8 October 2026, and all dates are for 2027 unless the note says otherwise.

Winter: which events take place in St. Moritz?

The first two events of the year both take place in St. Moritz: the Snow Polo World Cup 2027 runs from 22 to 24 January, and White Turf follows on three Sundays, 7, 14 and 21 February 2027. The polo is played over a single weekend, while White Turf repeats on consecutive Sundays, so a visit can be planned around whichever weekend suits. Our guide to the best ski resorts for Christmas and New Year covers the resorts themselves, St. Moritz among them.

Spring: Hong Kong, Geneva, Dubai, Milan and Cannes

Spring opens with Art Basel Hong Kong from 25 to 27 March 2027 and is busiest in April, when three fairs fall within two weeks: Watches and Wonders in Geneva from 5 to 11 April, Art Dubai from 9 to 11 April with preview days on 7 and 8 April, and the Salone del Mobile in Milan from 13 to 18 April. Watches and Wonders 2027 starts more than a week earlier than the 2026 edition, which ran from 14 to 20 April, so plans based on the 2026 dates need to move; our guide to Watches and Wonders describes the fair itself. In May, the 80th Cannes Film Festival, from 11 to 22 May 2027, overlaps with the Salzburg Whitsun Festival from 14 to 17 May.

Summer: which events fall close together?

More events in this calendar begin in June 2027 than in any other month: after the Monaco Grand Prix from 4 to 6 June, Royal Ascot 2027 (15 to 19 June) overlaps with Art Basel (17 to 20 June), and Wimbledon 2027 begins on 28 June, a day before the Henley Royal Regatta. In July, the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2027 (15 to 18 July) coincides with the opening of the Salzburg Festival and the Gstaad Menuhin Festival on 16 July, and the Bayreuth Festival follows from 24 July. For Bayreuth, orders for 2027 tickets opened on 28 August 2026 and close on 12 October 2026; anyone without an allocation can try the online instant purchase from 6 December 2026. In August, the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance takes place in California on Sunday 15 August 2027.

Autumn and December: which dates are still open?

Autumn begins in Monaco with the Monaco Yacht Show at Port Hercule, from 22 to 25 September 2027, and the Dubai Airshow follows at Dubai World Central from 15 to 19 November. When this calendar was compiled in October 2026, Art Basel had not yet published its 2027 dates for Paris and Miami Beach; the 2026 editions, from 23 to 25 October in Paris and from 4 to 6 December in Miami Beach, serve as orientation until it does. The year closes with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from 10 to 12 December 2027, one of 24 races on the Formula 1 calendar for 2027.

How we plan access, travel and accommodation

Events are planned end to end, so the day works as one piece. Flights, ground transport, accommodation and security are arranged as one mandate, and the event and everything around it is handled by the same people: a paddock club pass without the transfer, the hotel and the table afterwards is half an evening.

Very few requests for events arrive months ahead, and short notice is the normal case in this work. If an event is sold out, public availability is not the same as availability: we work through the organisers, hospitality partners and rights holders rather than the resale market. Whether a specific request can still be met depends on the event, and we tell you honestly rather than take the mandate and hope.

Around the event, our travel service covers private jet charter, exclusive villas in the summer and private chalets in winter. Our art service provides privileged access to fairs like Art Basel, Miami and Hong Kong, including the preview days that are not open to the general public, and our luxury service includes VIP access to watch fairs like Watches and Wonders. Three events in this calendar, Art Basel Hong Kong, Art Dubai and the Dubai Airshow, take place in cities where we have offices; we work from four offices across three time zones, in Zug, Düsseldorf, Dubai and Hong Kong. There is no price list: access, hospitality and the surrounding arrangements are quoted per request, before anything is booked.

What has changed since the 2019 calendars?

Several events from our 2019 calendars appear again in 2027, among them White Turf, the Cannes Film Festival, the Monaco Grand Prix, the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Wimbledon. The Geneva International Motor Show, which the spring calendar of 2019 listed for March, is no longer held in Geneva: as alVolante reported on 31 May 2024, the board of the foundation behind it, the Comité permanent du Salon international de l'Automobile, decided not to hold a show in 2025 and to ask the cantonal supervisory authority for permission to dissolve the foundation, and the show was to move permanently to Qatar, with the next GIMS planned for Doha in November 2025. We wrote about a different car event near Geneva, at the Domaine du Grand Malagny in Genthod, in our report from the Geneva Supercar Show 2024. Occasions that belonged to 2019 alone, such as Elton John's farewell concerts, are not carried over.

The two calendars we published in 2019 remain in the archive, as the 2019 spring VIP event calendar and the summer event calendar 2019; their dates are those of 2019. For access to any event in this calendar, and for the travel around it, see our VIP events service.
