Personal Concierge

For private clients and families: one point of contact, continuity, and nothing that has to be explained twice.

What a personal concierge changes

The difference is not that things get done - it is that they stop needing your attention. A personal concierge holds the context: which airline you will not fly, which clinic saw you last, which school the younger child is registered for, which watch you have been waiting on for two years.

What clients ask for most

  • Travel at short notice, including private aviation and the ground arrangements at both ends
  • Restaurants, events and access that is officially unavailable
  • Sourcing: watches, cars, art and objects with waiting lists or allocations
  • Private clinics and specialists in Switzerland, and the stay around an appointment
  • School and university placement, and the family's own relocation
  • The household: chefs, wine, staff and the things that only get noticed when they fail

Continuity is the service

Anyone can make one booking. What is hard to buy is the second year - the point where nothing has to be re-explained and preferences no longer need stating. That is what an arrangement with us is for.

Discretion

We publish no client names, no testimonials and no case studies. Much of our work arrives by introduction, and that only survives if nothing leaves the room.

What a personal concierge includes, and what it does not

A personal concierge mandate covers the private side of life: travel and the ground arrangements at both ends, reservations and access, sourcing, appointments, the household and the paperwork around all of it. Some clients call it a private concierge; the words describe the same arrangement, a service that works for the individual and the family and is paid by the client and by nobody else. It is the first of our concierge services most people ask for.

It does not include what belongs to a licensed profession. Doctors, lawyers, bankers and insurers stay in their roles; we find the right one, hold the appointment and arrange everything around it, in medical matters together with the group's medical brand, Veltracon Medical. It also does not include a membership card: there is none.

How a personal mandate runs

  • The conversation. You tell us what has become urgent, and a little about how you live: where, with whom, what has gone wrong before.
  • The assessment. You hear straight away whether it can be done and what it depends on. If a request cannot be met, we say so now rather than later.
  • The terms. For a single request, scope and fee in writing before anything is committed. For a continuous arrangement, the same, plus the name of your partner.
  • The work. One partner, one file. The file holds your preferences and your history: what was tried, what worked, what you never want to see again.
  • The second year. Nothing has to be re-explained. If the arrangement has grown into the whole private side of life, it becomes lifestyle management: one manager in front of everything.

Who it is for

Private clients and families whose time is committed and whose requests rarely go through open channels: the founder between two boards, the family with a house in Zug and another in the Gulf, the athlete whose season sets the calendar, and the partners, parents and children around them. A company that wants the same standard for its executives and guests engages us through a corporate concierge mandate; the two often meet in the same household.

How the work is charged

We work on the first of the three models described in our note on what a concierge service is: paid by the client, per request or as a continuous arrangement. There is no membership and no rate card; a single request and a continuous arrangement are not priced the same way, and you have the figure in writing before anything is committed.

Global Presence

Four offices, three time zones.

A personal mandate is held in Zug and worked wherever you are. Dubai runs two to three hours ahead of Zug depending on the season, Hong Kong six to seven. When you land in Hong Kong in the morning, the office there is already at work; when something goes wrong in Europe late at night, the morning in Dubai is only a few hours away.

Whichever office answers, the file is the same file. You do not explain yourself twice because a different time zone picked up.

Questions we are asked

Straight answers.

What does a personal concierge do?

It takes on what costs you time or requires access you do not have: travel, reservations, sourcing, appointments, and the running of a household. At this level most of it is not bookable - it is arranged.

Is it one person or a team?

You speak to a partner. Behind that sit the specialists and the network for each discipline, so you never have to explain the same thing twice.

Can you look after my family as well?

Yes. Schooling, medical appointments, travel for elderly relatives and the household itself are among the most common standing requests.

Do you work only for people who live in Switzerland?

No. Clients are worldwide; Switzerland is where the head office and much of the medical and education network sits.

How much notice do you need?

We are reachable 24 hours a day, and short notice is normal in this work. Whether a specific request can still be met depends on the request - and we tell you straight away rather than later.

What does it cost?

There is no price list. A single acquisition and a continuous arrangement are quoted differently, always before anything is committed.

How private is it?

Entirely. We publish no client names, no references and no examples of work. That is a deliberate choice, and it is the reason a good deal of our work arrives by introduction.

What is the difference between a personal concierge and a private concierge?

None in practice. Private concierge is the term some clients use for the same arrangement: a service that works for the individual and the household, paid by the client and by nobody else. We use both words for the work described on this page.

The people you will actually speak to.

Making an enquiry

What helps us move quickly:

  • What you need, and by when
  • Who it is for: you, a member of the family, a guest
  • How you would like to be reached, and in which language

What happens next

A partner reads the request personally and comes back to you on the channel you named, at any hour. You hear whether it can be done and what it depends on before terms are discussed. Nothing is booked, bought or promised to a third party until you have agreed the scope and the fee in writing.

Anything. Anytime. Anywhere.

Please contact us with any VIP requests by phone or email, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
