Principle and scope of application

Privacy Policy for the Veltracon Rescue Me App

I hereby acknowledge and consent to the recording of the telephone calls that I make over the mobile device’s emergency call system by Veltracon Lifestyle AG. I also consent to the storage of these recordings for a period of 12 months. In particular, I agree to the collection of the personal data that I provide during telephone calls over the emergency call system, as well as the storage of this data through Veltracon Lifestyle AG’s storage of the telephone call recordings or third parties appointed by Veltracon Lifestyle AG.

The recording and the storage of the telephone calls by Veltracon Lifestyle AG emergency control center is necessary for security reasons. It is not technologically possible to record only particular details of the telephone calls.

Therefore, I also expressly agree to the recording of the information provided in the telephone calls regarding my health situation.

I hereby agree to allow Veltracon Lifestyle AG to receive the location data of the mobile telephone, upon activation of an emergency call over that mobile device, so that the exact location of that mobile device from which the emergency call has been sent can be determined. I give Veltracon Lifestyle AG permission to store the thusly received location data for a period of 12 months. The data collection and storage aids in determining the location of the mobile device and, thereby, my exact location.

I hereby consent to the forwarding of all personal and health-related information upon transmission of the emergency call —as well as the location of the mobile device as determined by satellite and network positioning—to the third parties named in the master data record as well as to any other persons whom Veltracon Lifestyle AG notifies in order to provide me with assistance. I release the deployed doctors and their assistants from the medical confidentiality obligation insofar as they are appointed by Veltracon Lifestyle AG or the third parties.

Storage of the data

We only store your data for as long as is necessary for the purposes stated by us or as long as we are legally or contractually obliged to do so. Data that is no longer required for the stated purposes will be deleted by us as part of our regular data maintenance or alternatively anonymized.
