The 2019 Spring VIP Event Calendar
Like every year, there are numerous shows, parties and events that are worth attending. We thought we’d make it a little easier for you by compiling a list with dates for 2019.
The year started with SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie) taking place from January 14-17th in Geneva.
Fashion
If you love fashion like we do, then the Paris Fashion Week is a must. The best Haute Couture designers of the planet are showing off their Spring / Summer collections for 2019 between January 21st to 24th.
Next up we have the White Turf in St. Moritz. The place where equestrians and VIPs meet to enjoy horse races on the frozen, snow covered lake of St. Moritz. These events take place on February 3rd, 10th and 17th. Therefore you have the chance to pick a weekend that works for you.
At the end of the month we have the 91st Academy Awards show (more commonly know as the Oscars) taking place on Monday February 25th. That wraps up the month of February.
Cars
In March we have the Geneva Car Show which starts of on March 5th with the press and VIP days. It is opening to the public on the 7th and ending on the 17th. The Geneva show is the most mundane of all the car shows held around the world. It usually hosts the best unveilings of the year. Plus, Geneva is always worth a trip in early March. Why? Because you can squeeze in a few days on the slopes nearby.
In May, we turn our attention to the Côte d’Azur, the French Riviera. From the 14th to the 25th the 72nd annual Cannes Film Festival is being held. Each year you can participate and mingle amongst international show business celebrities and the festival also somewhat marks the beginning of the summer seasons.
Motorsports
Those who like Motorsports will be drawn to the Formula One Grand Prix in Monaco which takes place this year from May 23rd to the 26th, which is the race Sunday.
