At a fair like Art Basel the significant pieces are placed before the doors open. Privileged access means being in that conversation, not walking the aisles on the first public day.
A search mandate is patient work
When a client wants a specific work, the answer is often that it is in a collection and not for sale. A mandate means staying in contact with the people around that work for as long as it takes.
Condition, certification, transport
Buying is the visible part. Expert opinion, certification and moving the work safely across borders is where an acquisition is actually won or lost.

What does an art concierge do?
We advise on what to buy and why, run search mandates for specific works, arrange expert opinions and certification, and handle insured transport and storage. Buying is only part of it.
Can you find a specific work that is not on the market?
Search mandates for particular works, styles or periods are a standard part of the service. Whether a specific work can be moved depends on who holds it.
Do you arrange access to the art fairs?
Yes — including Art Basel and the fairs in Miami and Hong Kong, and the preview days that are not open to the general public.
Do you handle authentication and provenance?
Expert opinions, certification and transport of all types of art are part of the mandate. We use independent specialists, so the opinion is not ours to sell.
Can you advise without selling me anything?
Yes. Advisory is a separate service; we are not a gallery and we do not hold stock.
What does it cost?
There is no price list. Advisory, a search mandate and a full acquisition are quoted separately and agreed before work begins.
