Goodwood Festival of Speed
Goodwood is the place to be for real car enthusiasts. Every year in summer, this automotive festival is hosted at the British estate and showcases the most exciting cars of our time. The 2019 event takes place from July 4th until 7th.
Elton John – Final European Shows
The “Rocketman” is playing the final performances of his astonishing career and the last two European concerts will take place in Munich (Germany) on July 5th and at Mura di Lucca (Italy) on July 7th.
F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone
Formula One is always a highlight to attend. With fan emotions running high and adrenaline in the air, the the British Grand Prix is one of the most anticipated races of the season. Qualifying takes place on July 13th and the race is run on the 14th.
Wimbledon
England is the birthplace of Tennis and therefore Wimbledon is arguably to most important tournament in the world. Matches take place from June 24th to July 14th when the men’s final is played on center court.
Cricket World Cup 2019
This year’s Cricket World Cup is held in the UK where ten nations face off for the most prestigious title of the sport. Semi-finals take place on July 9th and 11th. The final is played on July 14th at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
Midsummer Party for the Elton John AIDS Foundation
The music superstar Sir Elton John hosts his prestigious gala dinner in favour of his AIDS foundation on July 24th at a private villa at the Cote d’Azur. The guest list reads like the A-list of movie stars and celebrities and promises to be an exciting, yet intimate spectacle.
Tomorrowland
Since its inception, the Tomorrowland music festival has attracted fans from all over the world and is always sold out. It is hosted in in the town of Boom between Antwerp and Brussels. This year is the 15th edition and takes place on two weekends 21st & 22nd as well as 26th, 27th and 28th of July.
F1 German Grand Prix at Hockenheim
This year, Formula One makes it’s appearance again at the Hockenheim Ring in Germany on the weekend of 27th & 28th of July. This race is the home race for Sebastian Vettel and Nico Hulkenberg and the atmosphere promises to be incredible with fan emotions and a beautiful European summer in full swing.
Swiss Open Gstaad 2019 Tennis Tournament
Gstaad is mostly known for its winter attractions but every year, the small Swiss mountain town hosts a prestigious tennis tournament and the world elite attends. The tournament is played between July 20th to the 28th and is always worth attending.
Sting at Sporting Club Monaco
Sting is one of the most influential musicians of the last 40 years. His songs are known around the world and on August 2nd he will perform his show at the Sporting Club in Monaco, which is a very small venue for 1500 spectators. The Monte Carlo setting and intimacy of this event, make it a “must see” on our event list this summer.
Rebel & Caviar Gala in Zürich
A wild card on our list is the Rebel & Caviar Gala Dinner at the luxurious Atlantis by Giardino hotel in Zürich this summer on August 9th. Its a Swiss A-list event that’s held under the credo “networking – connect and celebrate” and promises some illustrious attendants.
Fête des Vignerons in Vevey
The Swiss winemaker festival is taking place once again this year and that surely is a big deal. Why? Because the event is only hosted once every 25 years, so there are very few chances in ones lifetime to attend it. It takes place over the course of four weeks in the town of Vevey on the shores of Lake Geneva from July 18th to August 11th.
Ariana Grande the VIP Tour
Ariana Grande is one of the pop sensations of the 21st century. She regularly appears in the Top 10 of the international music charts and is an outstanding musical talent. Her European tour will take her to London on three dates this summer. She will perform on August 17th, 19th and 20th at the O2 Arena.
Football – Premier League
The new season of the Premier League in England starts on the weekend of August 9th. Highlight of the weekend is the match Manchester United vs. Chealsea London on August 11th, followed by Manchester City vs. Tottenham Hotspur (August 17th) and Liverpool FC vs. Arsenal London (August 24th).
Football – Bundesliga
The new season of the German Bundesliga starts on August 16th with last year’s champion Bayern Munich welcoming Hertha BSC Berlin. It is followed by Borussia Mönchengladbach vs. Schalke 04 (August 17th) and Schalke 04 vs. Bayern Munich on August 24th.

The Elbphilharmonie enjoys a truly one-of-a-kind music program in its range and diversity.
Some of today’s most exciting conductors can be heard on more than one evening with their own orchestra or as guest conductors of a different ensemble. To mark Beethoven’s 250th birthday, Andris Nelsons conducts the composer’s nine symphonies, while Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla celebrates the 100th anniversary of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
